The space between
We all have stuff to do and not enough time in which to do it. What margins are you building in your life to ensure that your important work isn’t drowned out by urgent busy-work?
Margin = space = time w nothing planned.
Every brain needs a “reset” every now and again.
The answer is…… “no”
Let me empower you with a word – no.
It’s quite a simple word and yet, one we seemingly forget is in our arsenal.
How many times do we feel the overwhelming sense to say yes to everything? Is it that we fear confrontation or how the other individual will react?
Sometimes, in order to say “yes” to the best thing(s), we have to say “no” to things that don’t fit the bill.

Newsflash – your boss doesn’t need another critic, she needs a problem solver who has inward drive to tackle issues.
This tendency is especially maddening when it pertains to the person’s own lane. If you have the privilege of a certain amount of autonomy within your lane of work, use that to it’s maximum not to get away with whatever you can, but to notice problems and tackle them. I tell our incoming staff members – “Leave your job better than when you found it.”
God gave you gifts, talents, and abilities – don’t use them to point out flaws, use them to notice flaws and then solve the issues. Time is short, after all. Not May 21st short, apparently, but short……
